Text Case Converter

Type or paste text below, then pick a case style to convert it instantly.

What this tool does

The text case converter transforms your text between four common case styles: UPPERCASE (all capital letters), lowercase (no capital letters), Title Case (the first letter of each major word capitalized), and Sentence case (only the first letter of each sentence capitalized). Conversion happens instantly in your browser with no data sent anywhere.

Example use case

Writers often draft headlines in normal sentence style and then need Title Case for a blog post heading or press release. Developers cleaning up user-submitted data might need to normalize names or labels to a consistent case. Students and professionals fixing text that was accidentally typed with the Caps Lock key on can quickly restore it to lowercase or proper sentence case instead of retyping it.

How Title and Sentence case work

Title Case capitalizes the first letter of every word, which is suitable for headlines and titles. Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter after sentence-ending punctuation (periods, question marks, and exclamation points) and lowercases the rest, matching how a normal sentence should read.
