What this tool does
This tool picks one random winner from a list of names or options you paste in, one per line, using the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator so every entry has an equal chance of being picked. Blank lines and duplicate whitespace are ignored automatically. Everything runs locally — your list is never uploaded anywhere.
Example use case
Picking a winner for a raffle or giveaway, randomly assigning who goes first in a game, or splitting a team by drawing names one at a time. Turn on "Remove each winner from the list" to draw multiple winners in a row without repeats — useful for picking several prize winners or building randomized teams.
Note on fairness
Every name in the list has an exactly equal probability of being selected on each draw, regardless of the order names were entered or how many times you've already picked.
